# GMOインターネットグループの子会社が政府に発動を求めた「能動的サイバー防御」は、10月1日に関連の法律が一部施行された新しい仕組みだ。重大な危害が生じるおそれがある緊急の場合には、警察などが攻撃に使われているサーバーに遠隔で入り、プログラムを止めたり消したりして無害化する。原則として独立機関の事前の承認が必要になる。
